Click or tap Advanced Options if you want to set additional options for the meeting.

Choose whether the video is turned on or off, by default, for the host and participants of the meeting.

You can use the predefined passcode for the meeting or change it to something else if desired.

Select a start day, time, and duration for the meeting.

The new meeting starts immediately and turns on the computer's webcam or mobile device's camera if you chose to turn on video.

Choose whether to start the meeting with video by turning the video on or off with the Start with video checkbox or Video On toggle.

On a mobile device, tap the New Meeting option.

On a computer, click the down arrow next to the New Meeting option.

You will receive a confirmation once the update is complete.

Do not turn off the computer or close the laptop lid during the application update.

Click the Install button to finish the installation process.

Once the download is complete you will see the Install button.

This can take up to 5 minutes depending on your internet speed.

If your application requires an update, you will see the following notification with loading bar, indicating Zoom is downloading the latest version.

If you run into issues updating, or if you receive an Auto Update disabled error message, please refer to the I can't find the Zoom icon on my computer section above to download and install the latest version from website.

If your application is up to date, you will see the following message:.

Open Zoom desktop application > Click on your profile icon > select Check for Updates.If you cannot find 'Check for Update' option, and your computer is managed by the SCU IT department, your zoom is managed and you do not have to worry about updating the application.
